David Price Ties Season High In Strikeouts
6 years agoBoston Red Sox David Price earned his fourth win Saturday, going six innings, allowing one run, on five hits, while striking out 10, and walking two in a 5-1 victory over Tampa Bay. His 10 punchouts ties a season high, but he wasn't overly filthy, throwing just 16 swinging strikes. However, he's now finished at least six innings in each of his last three starts, and has just a 1.47 ERA in that same span with a 22:4 K:BB. It might be a nice time to try and sell high on the aging southpaw, as he carries a 2.70 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP, and a 65:14 K:BB. He'll face off against the Texas Rangers on Thursday, where he will be a fine option and could possibly be a solid DFS option in cash games.
