5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is not in the starting lineup Thursday against the Houston Astros. It's been a rough start to the year for Hicks, who missed the first month and a half of the season, and he doesn't look to be turning the corner just yet. Through 55 at-bats in June, he has a measly .182 batting average and .274 on-base percentage. It is still early, though, and we're likely to see the 29-year-old find his stroke. Brett Gardner will slide in at center and bat ninth while Cameron Maybin will man left and bat eighth against Astros left-hander Framber Valdez. Maybin has been on an absolute tear recently, amassing four home runs, four RBI and seven runs over his last five games and could be a solid DFS value play tonight. Truthfully, anybody in the Yankees offense who can get on base at a semi-decent clip has a great chance of putting up solid counting stats.--Joseph Magazzinich
