Tony Gonsolin Making MLB Debut On Wednesday
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Tony Gonsolin will make the first start of his MLB career on Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 25-year-old has been reliable with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season as he has posted a 2.77 ERA and 1.26 WHIP across eight starts. Gonsolin is the team's fourth-best prospect, according to MLB.com. It seems likely that he will get the single start before being sent back down to the minors. He is a mid-tier streaming option for Wednesday's slate and would garner more fantasy value if he sticks in the rotation for an extended period.
