Bryse Wilson Expected To Start Thursday's Game
5 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Bryse Wilson is expected to start Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs in place of the recently-demoted Mike Foltynewicz. Wilson struggled to start the 2019 campaign, but he has come into form since May 16 with Triple-A Gwinnett, allowing 13 earned runs over his past 47 innings (2.49 ERA). The 21-year-old could stick in the starting rotation for the remainder of the season if he performs well. He is worthy of a speculative pickup in most deeper formats, but it may be best to sit him against the Cubs.
