5 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Chad Green was forced into a relief appearance in the eighth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night, so his status as the 'opener' for Tuesday's game against the Jays is up in the air. Green allowed two hits with two strikeouts in two-thirds of an inning, throwing 16 pitches (12 for strikes). It's uncertain if they're stick to the plan and use Green on Tuesday, use another opener from the bullpen or make a call down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Bettors and DFS players are particularly interested what transpires.--Daniel Dobish
