Ross Stripling Doesn't Last Long In No-Decision
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Ross Stripling allowed two runs - one earned - and four hits with a walk and four strikeouts over three innings in a no-decision Tuesday in Arizona. He threw 38 of his 60 pitches for strikes, with nine first-pitch strikes to the 14 batters he faced. Manager Dave Roberts said before the outing that he hoped to get four innings or 60 pitches from Stripling in his first start since April 25. For now, he is only worth a look in NL fantasy leagues until he starts to build up his stamina and go deeper into games. His next scheduled start is tentatively set for Sunday in Colorado.
