5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman/outfielder Ketel Marte (groin) is being eased back into action and he has only been cleared to play in the infield so far. Manager Torey Lovullo is not yet positive when Marte will be able to play the more strenuous position of center field. However, with the return of first baseman/third baseman Jake Lamb (oblique), Eduardo Escobar might be shifted to second base to open up third base for Lamb. Second is currently occupied by Marte. Lovullo will have to be awfully creative to get everyone in the mix, but you can expect him to find a spot for Marte somewhere. He is just too valuable.--Daniel Dobish
