Jake Odorizzi Strikes Out Seven On Wednesday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi had to settle for a no-decision in a 6-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday. Odorizzi was decent in his start as he allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings while striking out seven. The veteran right-hander's record holds at 10-3 with a 2.73 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 94 strikeouts in 85 2/3 innings of work. Odorizzi has taken a big step forward this season and has emerged as one of the better fantasy pitchers in the American League. He will look to keep it going in his next start, which will come on Tuesday against the Oakland A's.
