5 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Ryan Yarbrough threw three shutout innings to earn the win in a marathon 18-inning game in Minnesota. Yarbrough allowed two hits and struck out five to earn the win after Tampa used eight pitchers before him on what was supposed to be a bullpen game after using an opener. Yarbrough has had his moments this season, but most of his value has come from his seven wins which are unpredictable. His xFIP is a tad high at 4.53 and he won't rack up a ton of strikeouts with his 17 percent strikeout rate. He's a decent streamer in deep leagues when he's making a start or set to be the primary pitcher, but can be left on waivers in most mixed leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
