5 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas went 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored Thursday versus the Nationals. Three of those hits were doubles and Rojas also threw in a stolen base for good measure. Rojas has been swinging a hot bat this month with a .325 average since June 1, but is yet to hit a home run this season. The lack of power will keep Rojas from being relevant in most leagues, but he could be a sneaky add in deep formats or NL-Only. Since the start of May, Rojas is making hard contact more than 40 percent of the time. However, in May Rojas only hit 23.3 percent line drives, he was able to move that number to 33 percent in June and the results have followed. Rojas had 11 home runs last season so he's capable of hitting a few with the quality of contact he's making to go with a plus batting average.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
