5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs left wing Andreas Johnsson signed a four-year, $13.6 million deal, while right wing Kasperi Kapanen agreed to a three-year, $9.6 million contract extension. This is why the Leafs moved Patrick Marleau to the Carolina Hurricanes in a very costly salary dump. Johnsson lit the lamp for 20 goals and 43 points in 2018-19, while Kap was good for 20 goals and 44 points. The young duo will be part of the team's plans for the next few seasons, and they're just scratching the surface of their fantasy potential.--Daniel Dobish
