5 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Stephen Vogt went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was making the start in place of Buster Posey, who was given a rest against the difficult Zack Greinke. Vogt's homer was a solo blast in the ninth inning off of closer Greg Holland. He is now slashing .277/.349/.500 with a pair of homers and 12 RBI. His fantasy appeal is rather minimal outside of the deepest of NL formats unless Posey goes down with a long-term ailment.--Daniel Dobish
