5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo, who was named to the 2019 American League All-Star roster on Sunday, celebrated by going 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in a 6-2 road loss against the Tampa Bay Rays. Gallo has missed time this season due to injury, but he is still slashing .286/.426/.683 with 20 homers and 46 RBI. It wasn't all great on Sunday, as he was caught stealing for the first time this season. Gallo has emerged as a must-start fantasy option across the board, thanks mostly in part to his better power production and tremendous improvement in the batting average department.--Daniel Dobish
