5 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks with nine strikeouts over seven innings to pick up a victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. He threw 67 of his 96 pitches for strikes, including 15 first-pitch strikes to the 25 batters he faced. MadBum, the subject of trade rumors leading up to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, has won back-to-back starts for the first time since July 8-13 of last season.
