5 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman celebrated being named to the 2019 American League All-Star Team in style on Sunday. He posted a career-high six RBI in Sunday's 12-3 rout of the Los Angeles Angels, finishing 3-for-5 while just missing the cycle by a single. He also scored two runs, as he is now slashing .270/.356/.552 with 21 doubles, 21 home runs and 52 RBI. Chapman's power stroke has been particularly impressive over the past 10 games, as he has two doubles, five homers and 14 RBI during the span. He'll try to stay hot in Tuesday's game at home against Jake Odorizzi and the visiting Minnesota Twins.--Daniel Dobish
