Corey Perry Agrees To One-Year Deal In Dallas
5 years agoThe Dallas Stars signed free-agent right wing Corey Perry (Ducks) to a one-year, $1.5 million contract on Monday. The 34-year-old managed six goals and 10 points across 31 games for the Ducks last season, and he just wasn't himself after missing 51 games due to a knee injury. If he can bounce back to his pre-injury form, the Stars will get quite the value. Prior to the 2018-19 season, Perry had 49 or more points in 10 straight season where he played at least 45 games. He brings plenty of leadership and playoff experience to the Dallas locker room, too. However, at this point he is a late-round fantasy pick in most drafts, as last season was just downright ugly.
