5 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Dinelson Lamet threw a bullpen session at Petco Park Monday, which would line him up for a potential start Thursday or Friday against the Dodgers. Lamet missed the entire 2018 campaign after undergoing Tommy-John surgery in spring training which was disappointing after he was touted by many experts to break out. He made six starts in the minors this year posting an 8.00 ERA, but he racked up 33 strikeouts in 24.0 innings pitched. There will undoubtedly be some rust to shake off, especially in a matchup against the Dodgers, but he can provide some value in the second half. He can be scooped up in deeper leagues, but owners may want to wait out a few starts before plugging Lamet into their lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
