Eugenio Suarez Has Big Night In Loss
5 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez had a huge night in an 8-6 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. Suarez went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in the defeat. He took Milwaukee starter Adrian Houser deep in the sixth inning and followed that up with a shot off of star closer Josh Hader in the eighth. The big night raises Suarez's batting average to .255 to go along with an .827 OPS, 19 homers, 40 runs, 52 RBI, and a steal. Suarez has been heating up at the plate of late, hitting .360 over his past seven games. He will look to stay hot on Tuesday against Brewers starter Chase Anderson.
