6 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe was removed in the sixth inning of Tuesday's game with a lower right leg contusion. According to Juan Toribio of MLB.com, X-rays came back negative and he will be listed as day-to-day. Lowe was 3-for-3 with a home run and two runs batted in before exiting. Joey Wendle shifted over to second base and Yandy Diaz came in to play third. Lowe will likely be re-evaluated in a day or two to see if an injured list stint is necessary.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
