5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola dominated the Braves Tuesday, firing eight innings of shutout ball to earn his seventh win of the season. Nola scattered four hits and three walks while striking out eight in his latest gem. This is Nola's third straight start of at least seven innings allowing one earned run or less. In those starts, Nola has 28 strikeouts against only five walks in 23 innings. Nola got off to a rough start to the season but has pitched to a 3.44 xFIP with 10.91 K/9 since the start of May while being the ace fantasy owners signed up for on draft day. He'll try to finish the first half strong vs the Mets on Sunday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
