5 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz did not have a good start in Friday's 9-4 loss to the Cardinals. Pomeranz needed 85 pitches to get through four innings, allowing four runs on six hits (including two home runs) and four walks with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old has been pitching better than his season numbers lately, posting a 4.13 ERA with 37 strikeouts and 13 walks over his last six starts. While these numbers are relatively better, they still aren't great, and he is not fantasy relevant except perhaps in very deep roto leagues for his strikeout upside.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
