Martin Perez Beats Former Team On Friday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins left-hander Martin Perez picked up a win in a 15-6 victory over the Texas Rangers on Friday. Perez allowed four runs over six innings of work while striking out three and walking two. It wasn't a particularly dominant performance as Perez allowed seven hits, but he got plenty of run support and did enough to get the job done. Perez heads into the All-Star break with an 8-3 record, 4.26 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 85 strikeouts in 95 innings of work. He has established himself as a quality streaming option in fantasy when the matchup is right.
