Anthony DeSclafani Pitches Six Strong Innings
5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani went six solid innings in a 7-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Saturday. DeSclafani allowed two runs while striking out six and walking two. He wound up with a no-decision, leaving his record at 5-4 with a 4.26 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 90 strikeouts in 86 2/3 innings of work. He has had an up-and-down season but is trending up of late, having allowed just two runs over his past two starts. He's on the radar as a streaming option in plus matchups going forward.
