5 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis was 3-for-4 with an RBI during a 4-3 win over the Miami Marlins on Sunday. The 35-year-old has been getting on base at a steady clip over his last 30 games, slashing .315/.353/.486 with four home runs and 22 RBI. Markakis is a fantastic contact hitter with a keen eye at the plate. He now has 51 RBI on the season and continues to bat in the top half of the Braves' lineup.
