5 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Marcus Semien was 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored during a 7-4 win over the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. The 28-year-old has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners throughout the first half of the campaign. Semien is slashing .271/.350/.449 with 14 HRs, 48 RBI, and 61 runs scored. He is the preferred leadoff hitter for the team and is blossoming into a versatile offensive threat.
