6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley will be ready to hit the ground running in the second half after knocking in a run in the All-Star game. Brantley has been one of the most consistent hitters in the game this season and has hit over .300 in every month this season until he posted a .280 average in June. But Brantley is already off to a hot start in July, going 9-for-17 (.529) in his first four games this month. Brantley has been deadly with runners in scoring position, slashing .342/.410/.589 with 33 runs batted in through 73 chances. The veteran is an excellent trade target and is a smart DFS play to begin the second half.--Joey C - RotoBaller
