5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto will miss this weekend's series against the Washington Nationals after the birth of his child. Rob Brantly has been called up from triple-A to provide depth behind the plate but Andrew Knapp should most of the playing time until Realmuto's return. You may want to stay away from Knapp, as he has an abysmal .152/.291/.227 slash line so far this season. **Update: Manager Gabe Kapler informed media that he expects Realmuto to rejoin the team on Saturday.--Nate Duffett
