ANALYSIS: While the Rays are almost certain to continue mixing and matching in the late innings, Jose Alvarado's oblique strain opens up more opportunities for Diego Castillo. Activated from the injured list himself earlier this week, the 25-year-old had been excellent for most of the season, entering mid-June with a 2.05 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and six saves in as many opportunities. The week before he landed on the IL featured multiple blowups which ballooned his ratios.

Assuming he's 100 percent at this point, Castillo should factor heavily into the late innings for Tampa. Emilio Pagan will see his share of save chances, but don't count Castillo out. He's available in 70 percent of Yahoo leagues currently and is a worthwhile add for any owner in need of saves.
