6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder/outfielder David Fletcher hopes to replicate his solid first half of the season when the team opens up a series with the Mariners on Friday. Fletcher has been a pleasant surprise for the Angels this season, hitting .315 combined in the months of May and June. He also has been an above average leadoff hitter, slashing .302/.385/.468 from the top spot. The only question that remains is whether the 25-year old can maintain this production for the rest of the season. This element makes him a shaky play in fantasy for a player that is no more than a contact hitter trying to establish himself in the big leagues.--Joey C - RotoBaller
