5 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak was 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two runs scored, two RBI, and two walks during Tuesday's 10-4 win over the Boston Red Sox. It was a welcomed reawakening for the 32-year-old, as he has struggled throughout the majority of the campaign. Smoak is slashing .216/.354/.421 with 15 HRs, 40 RBI, and 36 runs scored this season. He is still capable of providing premium power, but his ratios are uninspiring. The veteran slugger is strictly an option in deeper formats or AL-Only leagues.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
