5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez allowed just two runs over 6 1/3 innings, while striking out four and walking three in a 5-4 win over Toronto on Wednesday. The only damage against the southpaw was two solo home runs in the third and fifth innings. Rodriguez has been solid over his past four starts, not allowing more than two runs in any of them. Home runs and walks continue to look over the 26-year-old's shoulder, but he finds a way to minimize big innings. He goes into his next start on Monday with an 11-4 record, a 4.34 ERA, and a 1.30 WHIP. A road matchup with the Rays isn't ideal as his road ERA is a full point higher than when he pitches at Fenway. If you're able to, fade Rodriguez his next time out.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
