5 years agoFantasy owners everywhere held their breath when talented rookie Brandon Woodruff threw just one pitch in the fourth inning of Milwaukee's game in Arizona on Sunday, before calling for the trainer and leaving the game with left side discomfort. Before his exit, Woodruff needed 78 pitches to get through three frames, giving up four earned runs on six hits, including a two-run home run to Alex Avila in the second inning. The Brewers placed Woodruff on the 10-day IL Sunday night and he'll undergo further testing on Monday, after which a clearer timeline for his return should emerge.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
