5 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel was 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during a 4-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The 25-year-old has enjoyed a ridiculous resurgence this season after starting the campaign off slowly. Gurriel is now slashing .292/.336/.600 with 18 HRs, 44 RBI, and five stolen bases. Incredibly, his first HR of the season did not come until May 24. Gurriel is worthy of ownership in all formats as he continues to carry the Blue Jays' offense.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
