6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is stuck in a slump at the plate heading into Wednesday night's action against the Dodgers. Simmons is not known for his power but has posted only three extra-base hits over his last 83 at-bats. He is slashing only .250/.294/.359 in the month of July and simply hasn't quite looked himself since returning from an ankle injury on June 27. Simmons began the season hitting in the middle of the Angels lineup but cannot be trusted to produce from that area of the lineup right now. His fantasy value continues to sink heading into Wednesday's action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
