5 years agoThe day after being trounced 16 -5 while wearing their abominable throwback uniforms, J.T. Realmuto helped the Phillies avoid a sweep from their division foes, hitting a grand slam off of Atlanta starter Kevin Gausman in the fifth inning on Sunday afternoon. The home run was Realmuto's 16th of the year and his third in the past four games. The power surge is certainly appreciated as even with those three, Realmuto still only has six home runs since June 1, at one point going through a 26-game drought. Philadelphia will face some suspect pitching in the upcoming week as they continue their homestand with three-game series against the Giants and the White Sox.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
