6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley went 2-for-5 with one RBI in the Astros 6-2 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Brantley has been a steady presence all season for a dangerous Astros lineup and now the team is finally back at full strength. He currently is slashing .373/.442/.667 in the month of July and has hit over .300 in each month this season except for June. He now has 60 runs batted in this season and is hitting a sparkling .337 with runners in scoring position. There are more talented hitters in the Astros lineup but few have been more consistent this season than the veteran Brantley.--Joey C - RotoBaller
