5 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon hit a grand slam off Atlanta reliever Chad Sobotka with two outs in the sixth inning of a 2-2 game on Monday night. Rendon's 23rd home run of the year ended up being the game-winner as the Nationals ultimately won 6-3. The 29-year-old All-Star has been on fire over the past month, slashing .355/.435/.624 with six home runs, 25 RBI, and 15 runs scored.
