Sonny Gray Gives Up Two Home Runs in Win
5 years agoCincinnati Reds starter Sonny Gray was not as sharp on Monday night as he's been in recent weeks, giving up four earned runs on six hits and two home runs over 5 1/3 innings. Coming into tonight's start, Gray's July had been fantastic, with a 1.33 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 27 innings in his four starts. Gray's now has a 3.29 ERA on the year with a 1.11 WHIP and is next scheduled to start on Saturday in Atlanta, where he'll pitch opposite Dallas Keuchel.
