Garrett Cooper Leaves Game
5 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper (hamstring) left Tuesday's game with an apparent hamstring injury. Neil Walker replaced Cooper at first base with Martin Prado entering the game to take over at third. Cooper was having a breakthrough season with a .296 batting average and 11 home runs in 67 games. He is making hard-contact at a 42.9 percent rate and has a .359 xwOBA. The Marlins will likely update his status after the game but fantasy owners should consider the big first baseman day-to-day for now.
