5 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Julio Teheran allowed two runs on seven hits across 6 2/3 innings of work during an 11-8 win over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. He struck out six batters while walking two. Trea Turner's two-run home run in the seventh inning was the only damage surrendered by Teheran. The veteran right-hander now owns a 6-7 record on the season to go along with a 3.38 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 114/56 K/BB rate. He has not allowed more than two earned runs in six straight starts. Teheran will look to continue his success in his next projected start against the Cincinnati Reds.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
