6 years agoChicago Bears kicker Elliott Fry is in a battle with teammate Eddy Pineiro to earn the starting kicking job when the team opens the season against the Packers on September 5. The former AAF kicker slipped on the grass and missed a field goal on a rainy day at camp but rebounded to go 8-for-10 in drills, including a 60-yard field goal. The Bears kicking situation has been in flux since they cut ties with embattled kicker Cody Parkey.
