5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Hyun-Jin Ryu tossed six scoreless innings during a 5-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. He struck out one batter while walking one. Ryu posted a 1.10 ERA through five starts in July, never allowing more than two earned runs in a game. The 32-year-old is in the midst of a Cy Young caliber season, as he owns an 11-2 record to go along with a 1.66 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and ridiculous 117/16 K/BB rate. One could argue that Ryu has been the best pitcher in baseball in 2019. He'll take on the St. Louis Cardinals in his next projected start.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
