5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Daniel Mengden is expected to move to the bullpen or get optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas in the coming days after the team acquired starting pitcher Tanner Roark from the Cincinnati Reds at Wednesday's trade deadline. The 26-year-old made nine starts for the Athletics in 2019, going 5-2 with a 4.85 ERA and 41 strikeouts over 55 2/3 innings. Mengden could be ignored across all formats while Roark's value is likely to increase on a contending team.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
