5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has requested a trade, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson. Whether or not Gordon gets traded is still a mystery, and the team has reportedly not granted him permission to speak to other teams and gauge the trade market. A holdout that didn't seem like it'd wind up being an issue is now starting to look like a major cause for concern in Los Angeles. If Gordon misses regular seasons -- whether through holding out or through being traded -- the Chargers will have to turn to some combination of Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson. Meanwhile, Gordon's fantasy value continues to fall. He's gone from a late first rounder to a third/fourth rounder.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
