5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (rest) is out of the lineup Thursday. It appears to be a routine night off for Seager who only has five hits in his last 25 at-bats and has only homered once since the All-Star break. Seager still has good plate discipline numbers as his 10.2 percent walk rate and 19 percent strikeout rate are both better than league average so he should break out of the slump soon. Kristopher Negron is playing shortstop and batting eighth tonight vs Joey Lucchesi and the Padres.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
