5 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Terry McLaurin has been a standout performer through one week of training camp, according to Redskins.com. The Redskins have sorely lacked a legitimate number-one wide receiver for some time now, with the Josh Doctson experiment never having gotten off the launchpad. With McLaurin turning heads this early as a rookie, one can't help but wonder if he even has all that far to go to become a preferred option in the passing game. Washington's receiving corps is one of the least inviting groups for fantasy owners on draft day, and that doesn't figure to change drastically between now and Week 1. That said, the rookie McLaurin at least offers some intrigue as an unknown quantity, as opposed to an otherwise well-documented collection of lackluster wideouts. It's at least worth monitoring McLaurin going forward.--Chris O'Reilly
