5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn allowed one run in seven brilliant innings Friday night against the Tigers. Lynn scattered four hits and struck out ten while picking up his 14th win of the season. Lynn has been one of the pleasant surprises in fantasy this season and everything he's doing seems to back up his career-year. Lynn's 12 percent swinging-strike rate is the highest of his career which has to lead to his highest strikeout rate since his rookie year in 2011. He also has the lowest walk rate of his career which has to lead to a 2.85 FIP that is even better than his 3.71 ERA. Fantasy owners should continue to start Lynn with confidence even in a tougher matchup next Wednesday vs the Indians.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
