Kris Bryant Gets A Day Of Rest
5 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant will sit out Sunday’s series finale versus the Milwaukee Brewers. It’s just a routine day off for Bryant who has been in a bit of a funk lately. The former MVP is hitting .287 with 21 home runs and 51 RBI on the season. Recently acquired Tony Kemp will replace Bryant in the lineup and bat seventh. Kemp will be at second base with David Bote shifting over to the hot corner. Kemp won’t offer much value outside of speed.
