6 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the Astros 3-1 win over the Mariners on Sunday. Bregman is coming off a month of July where he hit only .233 as the rest of the Astros offensive lineup is surging. Despite the mediocre batting average, Bregman still posted an on-base percentage of .402 during that stretch and now is beginning to turn a corner offensively. Over his last four games, Bregman is 7-for-16 with one triple, one home runs and two doubles. This is promising news for fantasy owners as a hot streak is on its way for the talented 25-year-old. For the season, Bregman is slashing .267/.397/.531 with 18 doubles, 27 home runs, 67 runs batted in and 80 runs scored.--Joey C - RotoBaller
