5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price gave up seven runs in just 2 2/3 innings in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the New York Yankees. He scattered nine hits, while striking out three and walking two. Two early home runs, and a six-run third inning doomed the 33-year-old. It's been a rough go-at-it for Price recently, as he is 0-3 in his last four starts and has given up 17 runs in that stretch. The southpaw has only made it past the fifth inning once since his start on July 2. Price has been pretty solid all year, but it seems he is starting to wear down at a bad time of the year for both his team and fantasy players. He'll get a home matchup with the Angels on Friday, but with his recent performance you should able to willingly leave Price on the bench in this one.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
